Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

- SAS Admin or Developer or Support experience in Campaign Management for Telecom domain.
- Working Knowledge of SAS Marketing Automation (MA), Real Time Decision Manager (RTDM), Complex Event Processing (CEP).
- Hands-on experience with SAS CI Studio, SAS Management Console, SAS Data Integration Studio, SAS Environment Manager, IBM LSF Scheduler, SAS EG, SAS IDP.
- Usage of SAS CI studio, SAS Management Console, SAS Data Integration studio, SAS Environment Manager, IBM LSF Scheduler, SAS EG.
- Experience in SAS Users/Groups/Roles & Licenses Renewal.
- Experience in installing SAS Hotfixes & upgrades.
- Understanding SAS Programming and investigating issues through SAS Logs.
- Hands-on Experience on Unix/Linux, Shell Scripting.
- Experience of analyzing views and PL/SQL procedures
- Flexibility to support Operations and Rotational shifts.
- Perform CR deployments, moving Packages, STPs.




- Experience in Incident and Problem Management.
- Experience working on Vulnerabilities and Risks.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

- Individually manage SAS application platforms.
- Up-keep the health of the platform via constant monitoring (manual as well as automated).
- Take corrective actions on alerts sourced from monitoring systems
- Perform RCA on issues encountered and strive for a permanent fix on the production platform.
- Resolving Business requests for performance issues & queries.
- Work closely with external systems to fix integration issues.
- Apply work-around through ad hoc codes and sql queries in a time-bound manner to support business continuity.
- Perform code deployments to the production workplace.
- Applying any product specific fixes/patches released from SAS on a needy basis.
- Open Tickets with SAS Support in case of any product related issues and track it to closure in co-ordination with design team.
- Work in close coordination with OS admin to update the environment with latest level patches and fixes.
- Open RFCs (required as part of the change management process) for any changes to be performed in the production environment.
