Role Description This full time remote role focuses on SAP S/4HANA Authorization and release management for India-based night shift operations. The role involves configuring and maintaining SAP S/4HANA authorization objects and roles, ensuring compliant access controls across business processes. The individual will manage release activities, including transport management, change tracking, and coordination with functional and technical teams to support deployments.

Daily responsibilities include monitoring authorization-related issues, performing root cause analysis, collaborating with stakeholders to align access with business requirements, and maintaining documentation for audits and governance. The role also requires close coordination with global teams during overlapping hours to support continuous operations.





Qualifications

- Strong understanding of Business Process design and mapping within SAP environments, with the ability to align authorization and release activities to operational workflows.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills to troubleshoot complex authorization issues, interpret logs, and propose data-driven improvements.
- Experience in Consulting or stakeholder-facing roles, including requirements gathering, solution presentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP FICO and related SAP S/4HANA modules, including integration touchpoints that affect roles and authorizations.
- Knowledge of Master Data structures and governance in SAP, ensuring that access controls and releases are consistent with data management standards.
- Prior experience in SAP S/4HANA authorization administration, role design, user provisioning, and GRC or equivalent tools is highly beneficial.
- Experience with release management processes, transport management tools, and change management frameworks in SAP landscapes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work effectively in India-based night shifts, manage remote collaboration, and communicate clearly in English, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with IT security standards, compliance requirements, and audit practices related to SAP systems is an advantage.
