1. 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience in automation engineering with strong expertise in UI, API, and E2E test automation.

2.Expertise in designing, creating, and maintaining automation frameworks (Hybrid / TDD / BDD) from scratch.

Strong hands-on scripting experience using:

UI: Selenium+Java/Python,Playwright

API: RestAPI/SoapUI (RestSharp or similar)

3.Experience in mentoring automation engineers, providing technical guidance, reviewing designs, and uplifting overall automation capability.

4.Experience building application-specific test strategies and automation test plans.

5.Solid DB testing experience, including SQL queries for validation and data integrity.

6.Hands-on experience with Postman, REST APIs, and SoapUI for web service testing including schema validation.

7.Experience in CI/CD pipeline integration, test execution, and reporting; Azure DevOps experience is an added advantage.

8.Experience in Test Management tools such as JIRA, ALM, Rally, or Azure DevOps for planning, traceability, and reporting.

9.Experience using GitHub/GitLab, including reviewing and approving peer code, branching strategies, and version control.





10.Hands on experience in automation of SaaS Applications (any of these SalesForce,SAP,Oracle)

11.Experience with Robot Framework, Katalon, Parasoft or similar tools is preferred.

12.Experience enhancing automation coverage, reducing manual testing, and improving framework reliability.

13.Ability to understand application architecture across Java, .NET, Angular, Node.js, and automate accordingly.

14.Ability to troubleshoot complex automation and implementation issues, guiding teams toward resolution.

14.Strong stakeholder management, communication, analytical and reporting skills.

15.Ability to train, mentor, and support junior automation engineers.

16.Experience contributing to system test methodologies, test plans, and execution of system-level automated tests.

17.Hands-on experience across all phases of software testing, including functional, manual, and automation.

18.Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum development practices.

19.Experience identifying, defining, and reporting automation value metrics (coverage, flakiness, ROI).
