Role & responsibilities

1. Primary POC (point of contact) for enhancements & support in & around technical part of entire landscape viz. SAP PI, PO, CPI, BTP-Integration suite
2. Ensuring zero unplanned downtime, and within accepted limits of planned downtimes. Improving Y-o-Y productivity

3. Ensuring zero message failures
4. Ensuring regular & necessary House-keeping, monitoring, health check, maintenance of entire landscapes
5. Validating & owning the technical changes and design
6. Manages & Communicates effectively with partners /stakeholders like banks, other vendors, sister concerns, leads resources (external & internal)
7. Escalating in criticalities, major incidents, requiring or during down times and whenever necessary
8. Drive & manage projects (big /small) effectively towards completion in time, using resources judiciously & effectively and high productivity. Plan implementations with least calculated risks with mitigation /rollback /alternative plans. Apprising all stakeholders especially reporting head regularly & escalating (if necessary) .
9. Maintains all proper documents related to project, maintenance & support in accepted formats as per known standards
10. Training team and end users
11. Does business process study with the help of business team. Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution. Draft RFP and RFQs, evaluate partners &various; solutions offerings from vendors.
12. Leads testing efforts for changes.
13. Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner during testing.

Communicates needed changes to SAP & other application teams.
15. Plans effectively, sets priorities, and manages several complex projects simultaneously while working to meet project deadlines.
16. Manages resources in accordance with project schedule.
17. Continuous improvements areas to landscape and implement them
18. Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules during project execution.
19. Delivers informative, well-organized presentations and can communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.

Preferred candidate profile

- Configuration /process knowledge of SAP CPI / PO / PI .
- Knowledge of message queuing, SOAP, XML, REST API, WEB SERVICES, ODATA, TCP/IP, HTTPS, Encryption, Web sockets, etc will be an added advantage
- Atleast 1 implementation of SAP CPI (Cloud Foundry)
- Sound knowledge of business process & best practices around SAP CPI / PO / PI
- Knowledge of SDLC, ISO /CMM, ITIL, software testing certifications /knowledge, be an added advantage
- Should be ready to work in a non IT, end user retail company like ours
