The SAP IDM Consultant role is focused on enhancing the Information Technology capabilities to support the organization's transformation and operational adjustments aimed at delivering greater value to customers and stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- User Provisioning: Automate user creation, modification, provisioning, de-provisioning, and password management across connected platforms.
- System Integration: Connect SAP IDM with SAP ECC, S/4HANA using ABAP connectors.
- Workflow Management: Configure and manage web-based approval workflows and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Maintenance & Monitoring: Schedule and monitor IDM background jobs, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and apply system patches.
- Reporting: Proficient in writing SQL queries using different Joins & other key functions.
Must have knowledge of SAP IDM tables & views.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: 3 to 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP IDM implementation and administration.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of JavaScript & SQL scripts, with proficiency in customizing workflows and identity tasks.
- Support: Ability to support internal/external audits and access reviews.
Nice to Have:
- Foundational Knowledge: Solid understanding of SAP Security, authorization concepts, and Segregation of Duties (SoD).
