Role Description The SAP Functional Consultant at Synapse XTL will work in a full-time, hybrid capacity based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role involves analyzing business requirements, mapping them to SAP functionalities, and designing end-to-end solutions that support business processes across finance and materials management. The consultant will configure and test SAP modules, prepare functional specifications, and collaborate with technical teams to support development, integration, and issue resolution.





Day-to-day responsibilities include leading workshops with stakeholders, performing gap analysis, supporting system upgrades and enhancements, and providing user training and documentation. The role also requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation, adoption, and continuous optimization of SAP solutions.

Qualifications

- Robust consulting and business process skills, with the ability to understand and translate business needs into SAP solutions.
- Hands-on experience with SAP FICO and related finance modules, including configuration, testing, and support.
- Practical knowledge of Materials Management (MM) processes and SAP MM configuration for procurement and inventory.
- Solid analytical skills for problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization within SAP environments.
- Experience in hybrid work models, with the ability to collaborate effectively on-site in Bengaluru and remotely.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or a related field; relevant SAP certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in end-to-end SAP implementations, upgrades, or rollouts in enterprise environments.
