SAP EHS Consultant – Role Description

Experience: 6–8 years

Role: SAP EHS / EHSM Consultant

Key Responsibilities

- Gather business requirements and prepare solution blueprints for new SAP EHS projects.
- Design and configure SAP EHS processes based on business requirements.
- Develop and enhance WWI (Worldwide Incident) templates, including WWI template coding.
- Manage and support data migration from legacy systems to SAP.
- Prepare functional specifications and contribute to technical documentation.
- Enhance existing WWI templates and identify process improvements across SAP EHS.
- Configure and support Dangerous Goods Management processes.
- Work with Verisk 3E and related EHS integrations.
- Support interfaces between SAP EHS and third-party systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and clients throughout implementation and enhancement projects.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide analytical solutions for SAP EHS processes.
- Coordinate with technical teams for development, debugging, and integration activities.

Mandatory Skills




- 6–8 years of experience in SAP EHS / EHSM.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP EHS implementation projects.
- Expertise in SAP EHS process design and configuration.
- Solid knowledge of Dangerous Goods Management.
- Experience with SAP EHS data migration.
- Hands-on experience with WWI templates and WWI template coding.
- Familiarity with Verisk 3E.
- Experience preparing functional specifications and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and client-facing skills.

Good to Have
- Basic ABAP knowledge for debugging.
- Experience with Substance Volume Tracking (SVT).
- Knowledge of the chemical industry.
- Previous SAP EHS implementation experience in manufacturing organizations.
- Experience with third-party system interfaces/integrations.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP environments and Health, Safety & Workplace Management (EHSM).
