Manual and automation API testing with 10+ years of exp:
- Valuable Experience on Functional testing, E2E testing, Integration testing and coordination experience.
- Hands-on experience with test case design, test planning, and execution
- Hands-on experience with UI and API testing, Postman, and test automation tools/frameworks such as Playwright
- Experience in Software Testing with strong focus on API's and salesforce managed packages
- Must have strong experience in API Automation Tools like SoapUI ,Restful and Postman.
- Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks
- Develop and execute API/UI test automation software tests
- Work with the development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, and other Development test objects
- Design use cases and test cases outlining application work flow
- Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
- Experience with Jira or similar test management and defect tracking tools
- Experience leveraging AI/LLM tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT)
to improve testing efficiency.
- Experience working within CI/CD pipelines and DevOps environments.
- Create and maintain automated testing frameworks to improve test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Ability to translate business requirements into comprehensive test coverage
- Should have strong co-ordination, communication & reporting, analytical skills
Justification: The key duties for this individual will be automation and API testing vs. UI but will have similar responsibilities as the other QA's when it comes to prep, execution, defect logging, updates and communication.
Both requirements must be fulfilled.
