Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Support role based in Mumbai, focused on freight forwarding operations. The role involves supporting the sales team with quotations, rate negotiations, and preparation of proposals for export and forwarding services.

The Sales

Support skilled will coordinate with operations and customer service teams to ensure timely booking, documentation, and shipment tracking. Daily tasks include responding to customer inquiries, updating internal systems, maintaining accurate records, and following up on leads and existing accounts. The role also involves liaising with carriers and agents, assisting with problem resolution,



and contributing to revenue growth through efficient and proactive support.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Freight Forwarding and Forwarding, including coordinating shipments and understanding industry processes.
- Candidates should possess skills related to Export operations, including basic knowledge of documentation and international trade practices.
- Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, including responsiveness, relationship management, and issue resolution.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Freight Transportation, including modes of transport, transit times, and cost considerations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic use of logistics or CRM software; attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Prior experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping is preferred; familiarity with Mumbai market is an advantage.
- Relevant diploma or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, commerce, or a related field is beneficial.
