Sales Team Member focuses on driving new sales across a wide range of solar components, including panels, structures, and energy storage solutions.

Job Summary

As a Sales Team Member, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking renewable energy solutions. You will educate potential clients on the benefits of solar energy and sell a comprehensive range of products, including Solar Modules, Mounting Structures, Earthing kits, Lightning Arresters (LA), DC Wires, Lithium-Ion Batteries, and Inverters.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Actively identify and source recent potential customers through cold calling, networking, and market research.
- Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of solar components like Solar Modules, Inverters,



and Lithium-Ion Batteries to provide tailored solutions.
- Consultative Sales: Educate customers on ROI, cost savings, and the technical benefits of specific components like Earthing and Lightning Arresters.
- Site Assessments: Conduct on-site evaluations to determine solar feasibility, including roof analysis and energy usage.
- Proposal Development: Prepare detailed quotes and customized solar energy system proposals based on client needs.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, dealers, and distributors to ensure long-term satisfaction and repeat business.
- Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets for the assigned territory.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; a background in Electrical Engineering is a plus.
- Technical Aptitude: Basic understanding of solar PV systems, AC/DC wiring, and battery management technologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills to explain complex technical concepts in simple terms.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho CRM) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Mobility: Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for field visits.
