Role & responsibilities

- Manage incoming enquiries and marketing-generated leads.

- Contact prospects promptly and understand their requirements.

- Qualify leads based on product, application, specification, quantity, location, current supplier and purchase timeline.

- Follow up systematically on quotations, samples, trials and commercial discussions.

- Reactivate dormant customers and prospects.

- Identify opportunities within existing customers for additional products, sizes and applications.

- Coordinate with the Sales Manager for customer meetings and trials.

- Maintain accurate lead stages, next actions and follow-up dates in the CRM.

- Monitor ageing of open enquiries and ensure timely follow-up.

- Collect feedback from prospects and customers regarding pricing, quality, specifications and competitors.

- Prepare weekly lead conversion and follow-up reports.





- Work closely with Marketing to provide feedback on lead quality.

- Work closely with Sales Operations to maintain accurate CRM data.

Preferred candidate profile

- 24 years of experience in inside sales, customer follow-up, business development, sales coordination or B2B sales.

- Experience in manufacturing, industrial products, metals, engineering or building materials preferred.

- Solid communication and follow-up skills.

- Highly organized and persistent.

- Good understanding of Excel/Google Sheets and CRM systems.

- Comfortable communicating with purchase managers, business owners and other decision makers.

- Graduate qualification preferred.
