Role purpose To generate qualified pipeline for the enterprise sales organisation. SDRs research and prospect target accounts, run outbound outreach, qualify interest, and book meetings for the Chief Business Officer and senior sales leadership. They do not carry a closing quota.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain target account lists across BFSI, government, e-commerce, travel and utilities.
- Research accounts and map decision makers — customer service, operations, collections and procurement leadership.
- Run structured outbound outreach across calls, email sequences and LinkedIn.
- Qualify inbound and outbound interest against agreed criteria before passing on.
- Book qualified meetings for the CBO and senior sales team, and ensure they happen.
- Maintain accurate CRM records — activity, stage, next action and notes.
- Feed market intelligence back to sales leadership: competitor incumbency, contract cycles, budget timing.
- Support proposal and pitch preparation with account research.
Must have — screening criteria
- 3–5 years in an outbound sales development, inside sales or lead generation role selling B2B services or software.
- Has carried and met a monthly qualified-meeting or pipeline target — candidate must be able to state their number.
- Comfortable with high-volume cold outreach by phone; this is not a farming or account management role.
- Disciplined CRM usage and pipeline hygiene.
- MBA in marketing, or equivalent demonstrated capability.
- Robust written and spoken English.
Preferred
- Experience selling BPO, CX, IT services or enterprise SaaS.
- Familiarity with sales engagement tooling and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
