Job Title: Safety Steward

Experience: 1–3 Years

Location: Project/Site Based

Role Summary:

Responsible for monitoring day-to-day safety activities at the worksite, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, safe work practices, and supporting the EHS/Safety team in maintaining a secure working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor daily work activities and ensure compliance with site safety rules and procedures.
- Ensure proper use of PPE by workers and supervisors.
- Identify and report unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, and potential hazards.
- Conduct routine workplace safety inspections and safety observations.
- Monitor work at height, scaffolding, ladder, lifting, hot work, and other critical activities.
- Ensure proper barricading, signage, housekeeping, and safe access/egress.
- Check basic safety conditions of hand tools, power tools, lifting tools, and equipment.
- Support Toolbox Talks (TBT), safety briefings, and safety awareness programs.
- Immediately report incidents, near misses, and emergency situations to the Safety Officer.
- Follow up on corrective actions for identified safety observations.
- Maintain daily safety inspection and observation records.
- Assist the Safety Officer during audits, site inspections,



emergency drills, and safety campaigns.
- Ensure workers follow approved SOPs, JSA/HIRA, and Permit-to-Work requirements.
- Coordinate with supervisors and workmen for effective implementation of safety measures.
- Perform other safety-related responsibilities assigned by the Safety/EHS team.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Diploma in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering + ADIS / DIS

OR
- B.Sc. + ADIS / DIS
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in industrial, infrastructure, construction, or maintenance projects.
- Good knowledge of site safety procedures, PPE, work at height, hot work, lifting activities, housekeeping, and emergency response.
- Good communication, observation, and reporting skills.
- Ability to monitor workers and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
- Strong commitment towards workplace safety and safe working practices.

Safety Officer / EHS Manager / Site In-charge

Key Objective:

To ensure safe working practices at site and proactively identify and control unsafe acts and unsafe conditions.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
