Job Overview

Qualdow is looking for a responsible and proactive Safety Engineer to ensure safe working practices at project sites and within the workplace.

Qualdow operates in the fenestration industry, specializing in doors, windows, façade, and related solutions for corporate offices, builders, hospitals, commercial spaces, and residential projects.

The candidate will be responsible for implementing safety procedures, conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, ensuring the use of PPE, and promoting a strong safety culture among employees and workers.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures at project sites.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Monitor and ensure proper use of PPE such as helmets, safety shoes, reflective jackets, gloves, and safety harnesses.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness sessions for workers and staff.
- Ensure safe working practices during installation, fabrication, and project activities.
- Monitor work-at-height activities and ensure appropriate safety measures are followed.
- Check scaffolding, ladders, lifting equipment, tools, and other safety requirements.
- Identify unsafe conditions and immediately take corrective action.
- Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.
- Report accidents, incidents, and unsafe practices to management.




- Coordinate with project supervisors, contractors, and workers regarding safety requirements.
- Ensure safety signage and emergency arrangements are properly maintained at sites.
- Conduct regular safety briefings for new workers and employees.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining safety documentation and reports.
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety rules and site-specific requirements.

Key Skills & Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as a Safety Engineer / Safety Officer, preferably in construction, façade, fenestration, or related industries.
- Diploma/Degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety, or a relevant field.
- Knowledge of workplace and construction site safety practices.
- Knowledge of PPE and work-at-height safety requirements.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and report unsafe conditions.
- Valuable documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to coordinate with workers, supervisors, contractors, and management.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
- Proactive and responsible approach towards safety.

Ideal Candidate A disciplined, alert, and responsible safety professional who can ensure safe working practices across Qualdow's project sites, effectively coordinate with workers and project teams, and proactively identify and prevent safety risks. Strong safety awareness, communication, site supervision, and reporting skills are essential for this role.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
