? WE ARE HIRING | SAFETY OFFICER – CHEMICAL MANUFACTURING

We are looking for an experienced Safety Officer to join our team in the Chemical Manufacturing Industry.

? Position: Safety Officer

? Industry: Chemical Manufacturing / Specialty Chemicals

? Experience: 5–8 Years

? Location: [Chennai-Tamil Nadu]

? Qualification: Diploma / Degree in Industrial Safety / Safety Engineering / Chemical Engineering or equivalent

? Key Responsibilities:

- Implement and monitor plant safety policies and procedures
- Conduct HIRA, JSA/JHA, safety inspections and audits
- Manage Permit-to-Work (PTW) and LOTO systems
- Ensure protected handling, storage and transportation of hazardous chemicals
- Conduct incident / near-miss investigations and implement CAPA
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and mock drills
- Conduct safety induction,



toolbox talks and safety training
- Monitor contractor safety and PPE compliance
- Ensure statutory safety and factory compliance
- Maintain EHS records, reports and audit documentation
- Support HAZOP and process safety activities

? Candidate Profile:

✅ 5–8 years of relevant experience in a Chemical / Specialty Chemical / Process Manufacturing Plant

✅ Strong knowledge of Industrial Safety & Chemical Process Safety

✅ Hands-on experience in HIRA, HAZOP, PTW, LOTO and Incident Investigation

✅ Good communication, coordination and training skills

✅ Experience in statutory inspections and EHS audits will be preferred
