Job Title: Safety Engineer / EHS Engineer

Offered Salary: ₹20,000/- – ₹30,000/- per month (Salary no bar for deserving candidates)

Job Overview

We are hiring a dedicated Safety Engineer to implement and enforce strict Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols across our construction sites. This role focuses on minimizing workplace hazards, conducting daily safety inspections, training site labor, and ensuring full compliance with statutory safety regulations and ISO standards.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

- Safety Protocol Enforcement: Implement precautionary safety procedures, enforce mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance, and oversee high-risk activities (concreting, scaffolding, height work, excavation, and electrical setups).
- Toolbox Talks & Labor Training: Conduct daily morning toolbox meetings for site workers and subcontractors, educating them on hazard identification, fire safety, and protected machinery handling.
- Site Inspections & Hazard Identification: Perform routine site audits to identify unsafe acts or conditions, issuing immediate stop-work or corrective action notices when necessary.
- Incident Reporting & Compliance: Document safety incidents,



conduct root-cause analyses, maintain accident registers, and prepare documentation for internal safety audits and legal inspections.

Value-Added Responsibilities

- BOCW & Statutory Legal Compliance: Ensure site health facilities, labour welfare conditions, safety nets, and first-aid provisions strictly align with the BOCW (Building and Other Construction Workers) Act.
- Emergency Response Readiness: Lead site emergency evacuation drills, organize first-aid training, and inspect firefighting equipment on a scheduled basis.

Key Skills & Qualifications

- Safety Standards: Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment (HIRA), Safety Audits, PPE Enforcement, Scaffolding Inspection, Emergency Management, Incident Investigation.
- Education: Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) / Post Graduate Diploma in Construction Safety or equivalent recognized safety certification.
- Experience: 3–6+ years of specialized experience as a Safety Engineer in civil construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
