Role Description The Rice Mill Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the rice mill, ensuring efficient milling processes, product quality, and compliance with safety standards. This full-time, in office role is based in Ramtek and involves managing production schedules, supervising mill staff, and coordinating raw material intake and finished goods dispatch. The manager monitors equipment performance, organizes maintenance activities, and implements process improvements to optimize yield and reduce waste.

The role also includes maintaining quality control procedures, documenting operational data, and collaborating with senior management on reporting, cost control, and resource planning.

Qualifications





- Candidates should possess robust Operations Management skills, including production planning, workforce supervision, and process optimization.
- Candidates should possess Milling and Industrial Engineering skills to manage milling parameters, improve process efficiency, and enhance equipment utilization.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills to maintain product standards, monitor testing procedures, and ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met.
- Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to plan and oversee routine servicing, minimize downtime, and coordinate with technical staff or vendors.
- Relevant experience in rice milling, grain processing, or agro-based manufacturing, with familiarity in safety and compliance practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with attention to detail and data-driven decision-making.
- Effective communication and team leadership skills, with the ability to train staff and promote a safe, inclusive work environment.
- Diploma or degree in engineering, food technology, agriculture, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in mill management will also be considered.
