The role
You will find the RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs worth pursuing, take apart the requirement packages so the team knows exactly what is being asked, research who has won similar contracts and what they offered, and help build the response. Solicitations often run to hundreds of pages across multiple documents (base RFP, addenda, Q&A;, pricing templates, security questionnaires, contract terms). You need to be the person who reads all of it, understands it, and tells the team what matters.
You will work directly with our RFP Team (Business Intelligence Manager and Marketing Manager) and, as bids require, with the Chief Revenue Officer, Director of Product Security & Development, and Finance Team Lead.
What you will do
- Monitor procurement portals and bid aggregators; maintain the opportunity tracker with key dates, scope, and go/no-go recommendations
- Read full solicitation packages and produce compliance matrices mapping every requirement, evaluation criterion, and submission formality
- Translate legal, compliance, and procurement language into clear implications for the team; draft clarification questions
- Research prior awards and competitors: who won, at what price, what they proposed
- Draft first-pass responses from our content library and coordinate inputs from product, security, and finance
- Own the submission calendar, checklist, and final packaging
- Maintain the response content library and capture lessons from wins and losses
Requirements
- English at C1/C2 level, written and spoken. This is essential: you will read dense legal and technical documents and write responses scored by US public-sector evaluators
- Minimum 1 year of experience in comparable work (research, paralegal, procurement, proposal support, or research-heavy marketing)
- Proven ability to read, understand, and dissect long, multi-document requirement packages into accurate structured summaries
- Working command of legal, compliance, business, and industry terminology as used in procurement and vendor contracts, or the ability to acquire it rapid
- Advanced user of AI tools (Claude, GPT, etc.) with strong prompting skills, and the discipline to verify outputs against source documents
- Basic Excel or Google Sheets; intermediate preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and deadline discipline
- Self-directed and reliable in a remote setting
Preferred
- Experience responding to US federal, state, local, or higher-education solicitations
- Exposure to identity verification, KYC/AML, EdTech, GovTech, or financial services compliance
- Familiarity with SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST 800-63, FERPA, GDPR, or HIPAA at the level of knowing what buyers ask for
Details
- Full-time, remote. Open to candidates anywhere with consistent overlap with US Eastern business hours
