Role Purpose:

We are seeking a Retail Offshore Lead to run the offshore delivery team supporting the SAP S/4HANA store rollout for the MAF Retail operating company. The role owns day-to-day management of the offshore functional, development, integration and data migration consultants: allocating work, assuring quality, tracking delivery against the rollout plan, and acting as the single point of accountability to the onsite leads and programme management.

The ideal candidate will have 10 to 12 years of SAP experience with a strong retail background, proven experience leading offshore delivery teams, and must have completed at least one full greenfield SAP S/4HANA retail implementation. The role manages the offshore functional, development, integration and data migration consultants.

Role Details - Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Offshore Delivery Management:

- Plan and allocate work across the offshore team, balancing capacity against the rollout schedule and agreed deliverables for each store wave.
- Track progress on configuration, developments, interfaces and migration objects, and report status, risks and issues to the onsite leads and programme governance.
- Manage offshore resourcing, onboarding, access requests, leave planning and shift coverage so that UAE business hours are always supported.

Quality Assurance:

- Review functional specifications, configuration documents, test scripts and technical deliverables before they are submitted to the onsite team.
- Enforce project standards for documentation, transports, defect management and test evidence across all offshore streams.
- Drive defect resolution during SIT, UAT, cutover and hypercare, ensuring service levels and turnaround times are met.

Solution Oversight:

- Maintain an end-to-end view of the retail solution across P2P, O2C, R2R, CAR, EWM,



integration and data migration, and challenge designs that create downstream risk.
- Resolve cross-stream dependencies and design conflicts offshore before they need onsite escalation.
- Support cutover planning and execution from the offshore side, including task ownership, rehearsal participation and go-live coverage.

Stakeholder and Team Management:

- Act as the single point of contact for the offshore team, holding daily stand-ups and weekly reviews with the onsite leads and PMO.
- Identify delivery risks early, propose mitigations, and escalate promptly where onsite decisions or business input are required.
- Coach and develop the offshore consultants, manage performance, and build retail and S/4HANA capability within the team.

Stakeholder Collaboration:

- Collaborate with onsite stream leads, the PMO, testing, Basis and external vendors to keep offshore delivery aligned with the programme plan.
- Contribute to estimation, planning and continuous improvement of the offshore delivery model across store waves.

Functional/Technical Competencies

Education:

- Bachelor s/master s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

- 10 to 12 years of SAP experience, including at least 3 years leading offshore or distributed delivery teams.
- Mandatory: at least one complete greenfield SAP S/4HANA retail implementation delivered end to end, from design through go-live,



with strong understanding of retail operations across stores, distribution centres and head office.
- Depth in at least one SAP stream (P2P, O2C, R2R, CAR, EWM, integration or data migration) with working knowledge of the others.
- Experience across the full delivery lifecycle including SIT, UAT, cutover, go-live and hypercare on multi-site rollouts.

Technical Skills:

- Solid grasp of SAP S/4HANA retail architecture and the dependencies between functional, development, integration and migration workstreams.
- Experience with retail-specific SAP components such as IS-Retail, SAP CAR, POS DM and EWM.
- Proficiency in delivery planning, estimation, RAID management and status reporting.
- Familiarity with quality gates, review processes and test and defect management tooling.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent written and spoken English, with the presence to represent the offshore team to senior onsite stakeholders.
- Leadership and coaching ability, with a track record of developing consultants and holding a team to standards.
- Ability to lead under pressure through cutover weekends, go-live and fixed store opening deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

- SAP S/4HANA certification in a relevant stream, and a project management qualification such as PMP or PRINCE2.
- Experience running an offshore delivery centre for a large-scale, multi-location and multi-country retail SAP programme.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid methodologies, SAP Activate, and tools such as Jira or Solution Manager.
