Role Description The Research Professor role at K L University is a full-time, on-site position based in Andhra Pradesh, India. The individual in this role will design and conduct original research projects, secure research funding, and publish in reputable peer-reviewed journals.

Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring research scholars and students, collaborating with colleagues and external partners on interdisciplinary initiatives, and contributing to curriculum development and academic planning.

The Research

Professor will also participate in conferences, workshops, and seminars,



and support the university’s strategic research objectives through leadership in their area of specialization.

Qualifications

- Advanced academic background with a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline (in CSE, ECE, Biotechnology, Chemistry, and Physics) and a strong record of peer-reviewed publications and research impact.
- Demonstrated expertise in research design, data collection and analysis, and use of appropriate research methodologies and tools.
- Experience mentoring postgraduate and doctoral students, supervising theses, and fostering a cooperative research environment.
- Ability to develop and lead funded research projects, including grant writing, project management, and reporting.
- Strong communication skills, including academic writing, presenting research findings, and engaging with industry and community stakeholders.
- Commitment to ethical research practices, inclusivity, and contribution to institutional governance and committee work.
- Prior experience in a university or research institution, with evidence of teaching excellence and integration of research into teaching, is highly desirable.
- Willingness to work on-site in Andhra Pradesh and actively participate in the campus academic community.
