Position Summary

- Role: Lead – Civil Material Testing Reporting
- Location: Chennai (Full-Time)
- Experience: 4–8 Years
- Salary: Up to ₹40,000 / month (based on capability)
- Education: B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Report Preparation & Review Lead to take end-to-end ownership of our Civil Material Testing Reporting Department. Rather than just writing reports, you will direct the end-to-end operational workflow: ASSIGN → MONITOR → PREPARE → REVIEW → CORRECT → COMPLETE → TRACK.

Key Responsibilities

- Task Allocation & Backlog Control: Prioritize daily assignments, monitor turnaround times, and eliminate delays to ensure zero report backlogs.
- Technical Review & Quality Control: Verify accuracy, completeness, and IS Code compliance across all test reports before final release. Coordinate with lab and field staff to rectify data discrepancies.
- Team Leadership & Output: Manage daily team productivity, guide junior staff on technical standards, and maintain systematic record archives.
- Management Reporting: Track performance KPIs, streamline workflows,



and escalate resource/technical issues to senior management.

Candidate Profile & Qualifications

- Core Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of testing procedures and IS Codes for Cement (IS 4031), Concrete (IS 516 / IS 1199), Aggregates (IS 2386), Soil (IS 2720), Steel/TMT (IS 1608 / IS 1786), Bricks, Bitumen, and Water.
- System & Computer Proficiency: Excellent MS Office (Excel & Word) skills, fast typing speed, and strong data organization abilities.
- Soft Skills: Proven team-management capability, deadline-driven mindset, attention to detail, and effective inter-departmental communication.
