Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Relationship Manager role based in Udupi.

The Relationship

Manager will focus on building, nurturing, and expanding relationships with individual and institutional investors, distributors, and other business partners to drive mutual fund investments.

Responsibilities include explaining SBI Mutual Fund products, supporting clients in investment decisions aligned with their risk profiles, and ensuring timely servicing of queries, transactions, and documentation. The role involves regular client meetings, follow-ups, and portfolio reviews, as well as participation in local marketing initiatives,



investor education programs, and branch-level promotional activities.

The Relationship

Manager will collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintain accurate records in CRM systems, and contribute to achieving sales and asset under management (AUM) targets in the assigned territory.

Qualifications

- Strong client relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships.
- Sales and business development capabilities, including prospecting, negotiation, and achieving investment and AUM targets.
- Valuable knowledge of mutual fund products, capital markets, and investment concepts, with the ability to explain them clearly to investors.
- Effective communication and presentation skills in English and local languages, with proficiency in documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work on-site in Udupi, manage field visits, and coordinate with branches, distributors, and internal teams.
- Comfort with basic computer applications, CRM tools, and data handling for tracking leads, client interactions, and transactions.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business, economics, or a related field; professional certifications such as NISM Series V-A (Mutual Fund Distributor) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in financial services, banking, or mutual fund distribution is preferred, along with a strong ethical approach and adherence to compliance and regulatory guidelines.
