Role Description The Relationship Manager role in Siliguri & Darjeeling at Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance is a full-time, on-site position based in Siliguri. This role involves building and nurturing long-term relationships with customers, understanding their financial protection and investment needs, and recommending suitable life insurance products.

The Relationship

Manager will handle daily customer interactions, follow up on leads, support policy servicing,



and ensure a high standard of customer satisfaction. The role includes achieving sales and renewal targets, coordinating with internal teams for smooth policy issuance, and maintaining accurate records of customer engagements.

Manager will also participate in local marketing activities, provide after-sales support, and represent the company’s values and brand in the local market.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong customer relationship management, client servicing, and stakeholder engagement skills with minimum 2 years of experience in Insurance sector.
- Candidates should possess sales, business development, and negotiation skills focused on insurance or financial products.
- Candidates should possess communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse customers.
- Candidates should possess basic analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills for assessing customer needs and maintaining records.
- Relevant experience in life insurance, banking, or financial services is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is desirable; additional certifications in insurance or finance are an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Malda, with knowledge of the local market and willingness to conduct field visits.
- High level of integrity, customer focus, and ability to meet performance targets in a fast-paced environment.
