Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse role based at Gastro Liver Endoscopy Centre in New Delhi.

The Registered

Nurse will provide direct patient care before, during, and after endoscopic and related procedures, including assessment, preparation, monitoring, and recovery support.

Responsibilities include administering medications and IV fluids as ordered, maintaining sterile technique, assisting physicians during procedures, and accurately documenting care and observations. The nurse will educate patients and families about procedures, pre- and post-procedure instructions, and ongoing care plans.



The role also involves coordination with medical and administrative staff to ensure smooth patient flow, adherence to safety and infection control protocols, and compliance with clinic policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Valid nursing qualification (GNM/B.Sc Nursing or equivalent) and current registration with the relevant nursing council.
- Clinical skills in patient assessment, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, IV therapy, and post-procedure care.
- Experience or strong interest in gastroenterology, endoscopy, or critical care settings; prior work in procedure-based clinics or hospitals is an advantage.
- Knowledge of infection control, aseptic techniques, and safe handling of equipment used in endoscopy and related procedures.
- Strong documentation skills, attention to detail, and ability to follow clinical protocols and safety guidelines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and providing clear patient education.
- Ability to work on-site in a fast-paced setting, manage multiple patients, and remain calm in urgent or emergency situations.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic medical records and clinic systems; familiarity with quality and patient safety standards is beneficial.
