About the Role

Solterra is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quantity Surveyor – MEP to join our team in Gurugram. In this role, you will be responsible for cost estimation, bill verification, quantity take-offs, and budget monitoring across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems. You will collaborate closely with site execution, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure MEP projects are delivered efficiently and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct accurate quantity take-offs from architectural and MEP schematic drawings.
- Prepare, review, and finalize Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and project cost estimates.
- Perform market rate analysis for materials, labor, plant, and MEP subcontracted packages.
- Review, verify, and process client billing, contractor invoices, and subcontractor payment applications against actual site progress.
- Track variations, change orders, and deviations to manage potential cost overruns.




- Monitor ongoing project budgets and prepare cash flow / cost projection reports.
- Liaise with site engineers, procurement specialists, and project managers to streamline material procurement and cost control.

Eligibility & Qualifications

- Education: B.E. / B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Freshers or candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience in MEP quantity surveying or cost estimation.
- Technical Skills: Robust understanding of MEP systems, estimation methodologies, BOQ creation, and billing procedures.
- Software Tools: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; working knowledge of AutoCAD or CostX is an added advantage.
- Soft Skills: Solid analytical reasoning, keen attention to numerical detail, and clear verbal and written communication skills.
