Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Quality In-Charge with strong knowledge of CNC machining and engineering components. The candidate will be responsible for managing the overall quality function, ensuring products meet customer specifications, drawings, and required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day quality inspection activities for CNC machined components.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the incoming, in-process, and final inspection stages.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, dimensional tolerances, and specifications.
- Inspect CNC components using measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Dial Gauge, and other precision instruments.
- Coordinate with the CNC Production and Programming teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Monitor and reduce rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
- Conduct root-cause analysis and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, quality records, rejection reports, and other documentation.
- Ensure proper calibration and usage of measuring instruments.
- Handle customer quality requirements, inspection reports, and quality-related communication.
- Conduct first-piece, in-process, and final inspections.
- Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and customer specifications.
- Train and guide quality inspectors and junior team members.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality, productivity, and process control.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes and engineering components.
- Good understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T;.
- Hands-on experience with precision measuring instruments.
- Knowledge of quality control and inspection procedures.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in handling rejection, rework, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Good coordination skills with Production, Engineering, and other departments.
- Ability to lead and manage a quality team.
Qualification Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related discipline.
Preferred Experience
Candidates from CNC machining, precision engineering, auto components, engineering components, or similar manufacturing industries will be preferred.
Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
