Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager – Accounting & Finance

Experience: 8–12 Years

Level: Manager/ Sr Manager

Location: Work from Home / Hybrid (Gurugram, India)

Office Timing: 16:00 to 01:00 hrs IST (Monday to Friday)

Role Objective The Quality Assurance Manager owns the accuracy and US GAAP compliance of all client accounting and bookkeeping deliverables, acting as the final review before delivery. The role combines rigorous quality control with capability-building - mentoring accountants, standardizing processes, and continuously raising the team's US GAAP proficiency to protect client trust.

Key Responsibilities

- Quality framework: Define and maintain QA checklists, SOPs, and control points covering general ledger, reconciliations, AP/AR, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
- Final review: Perform sign-off review of all client deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and

US GAAP compliance before delivery.
- Error prevention: Root-cause recurring errors and drive corrective and preventive actions,

tracking quality metrics (error rates, rework, on-time delivery) and reporting to leadership and clients.
- Training & mentoring: Build and deliver structured US GAAP training, coach accountants, and maintain a knowledge base that standardizes treatment and process across the team.
- Technical authority: Serve as the escalation point for complex accounting questions and quality matters, and keep internal standards current with evolving US GAAP.





Core Skills & Expertise (Must Have)

- Deep US GAAP expertise - Authoritative, hands-on command of US GAAP applied across full-

cycle accounting and bookkeeping for US clients, with the ability to make and defend correct treatment decisions.
- Quality review & control - Strong audit-grade review discipline: the ability to build QA frameworks and checklists, scrutinize deliverables for accuracy and completeness, and systematically reduce errors and rework.
- US client-facing experience - Comfort managing quality escalations and communicating with

US clients, ideally gained in an outsourcing, shared-services, or offshore delivery setting.

Additional Skills & Expertise (Positive to Have)

- US accounting software proficiency - Working command of the tools deliverables are produced in (QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, Bill.com, and similar), enabling efficient and credible review.
- Process improvement & standardization - Experience streamlining accounting workflows and applying automation or AI-assisted tools to improve quality and throughput in a delivery environment.
- Training & mentoring in US GAAP - Proven ability to upskill accountants - developing training content, coaching individuals, and lifting overall team competency and consistency.

Qualifications

- Active CPA (US) or CA (India) - required.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
