Role Description This full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role is based in Bengaluru. The person in this role will design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile applications used across Marketing Campfire’s platforms. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and executing test cases, validating new features, performing regression and integration testing, and ensuring software quality before releases.

The role involves collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and marketers to understand requirements, identify defects, and improve overall reliability and performance. The engineer will also help refine QA processes,



contribute to documentation, and recommend tools and frameworks to enhance test coverage and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with a focus on ensuring reliable and user-friendly applications.
- Experience designing and executing Test Cases, including test plans, regression tests, and integration tests.
- Hands-on practice with Manual Testing for exploratory testing, usability checks, and validation of edge cases.
- Proficiency in QA Automation, including building and maintaining automated test scripts and using automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of common programming or scripting languages (such as Java, JavaScript, Python) used for test automation.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions) to integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, or similar).
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams on-site in Bengaluru.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
