Role Description The QA Development Engineer is a full-time hybrid role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, with flexibility for part-time work from home. In this position, the individual will design, develop, and execute test cases to validate the quality and reliability of AI-driven automation products and platforms.

Day-to-day tasks include planning and performing manual tests, documenting test execution results, identifying and tracking defects, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams to ensure robust software releases. The role also involves contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes, maintaining test documentation,



and supporting regression and integration testing for new and existing features.

Qualifications

- Robust foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with experience applying QA principles in product or platform environments.
- Hands-on experience in Manual Testing and Test Execution, including documenting results and reporting defects clearly.
- Ability to design, maintain, and optimize Test Cases that cover functional, integration, and regression testing scenarios.
- Familiarity with testing tools, bug tracking systems, and version control platforms (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Git or similar).
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies, and experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to test planning.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work in a hybrid setup with distributed teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience testing AI-driven or automation products, and basic knowledge of scripting or test automation frameworks, is an advantage.
