Role Description As a Python Intern at CosmoQuick, you will support the development and maintenance of features for our job marketplace platform. On a day-to-day basis, you will write and test Python scripts, assist in building and improving APIs, and help integrate data from various sources into internal tools and applications.

You will collaborate with senior engineers to debug issues, optimize code, and document technical workflows and processes. The role also involves reviewing pull requests, learning best practices in version control, and contributing to small projects or modules under guidance.



This is a remote internship role, allowing you to work flexibly while gaining practical, real-world experience in software development.

Qualifications

- Foundational Python programming skills, including working with data structures, functions, and modules.
- Basic understanding of object-oriented programming and familiarity with standard Python libraries (e.g., requests, json, os).
- Ability to write clean, readable code and follow coding standards under supervision.
- Experience or coursework in software development fundamentals, such as algorithms, data structures, or databases.
- Familiarity with version control tools (preferably Git) and collaborative development workflows.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, with the ability to research solutions and learn current technologies quickly.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for working with distributed teams and documenting work.
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree or bootcamp in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Interest in online platforms, marketplaces, or HR/Recruitment technology is a plus.
