Python Automation Engineer RDKB / CPE Networking

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior QA / Python Automation Engineer with strong experience in RDKB, Broadband, CPE, Cable Modem, or Gateway testing.

The ideal candidate should have strong Python automation skills, good networking knowledge, and experience working with customers and leading a small QA team.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts for testing.
- Perform functional, regression, network, performance, and stability testing.
- Test Broadband / CPE / Gateway / Cable Modem features.
- Work on networking areas such as TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS, NAT, Routing and Wi-Fi.
- Troubleshoot issues using Wireshark, tcpdump, SNMP, logs and CLI.
- Validate firmware upgrades, releases, and defect fixes.
- Participate in customer calls, defect triage, and release discussions.
- Lead or guide a small QA team of 34 engineers.
- Support production issues, issue reproduction, RCA, and fix validation.

Mandatory Skills
- Around 8 years of QA / Test Engineering experience.




- RDKB experience Mandatory.
- Strong Python automation experience.
- Experience in Broadband / CPE / Cable Modem / Gateway testing.
- Strong networking knowledge TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Routing.
- Good communication and customer-facing experience.
- Experience leading or mentoring a small QA team.

Important: Generic Python automation profiles without RDKB / Broadband / CPE / Networking experience will not be considered.

Location Requirement Chennai or Pune only.
