Role Description The Purchase Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Tamil Nadu, India. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities for steel and related materials, including identifying suppliers, requesting quotations, and negotiating pricing and terms.

The Purchase

Specialist prepares and processes purchase orders, monitors delivery schedules, and ensures materials meet quality and specification requirements. Daily activities include maintaining accurate purchase records, analyzing material requirements,



coordinating with project, engineering, and finance teams, and resolving any discrepancies with vendors. The role also involves tracking market trends, optimizing purchasing costs, and supporting continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong purchasing process knowledge, including Purchasing Processes and Purchasing.
- Candidates should possess skills in Purchase Management and handling Purchase Orders.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to evaluate suppliers, costs, and material requirements.
- Relevant experience in industrial or construction materials procurement, ideally in steel or infrastructure sectors.
- Ability to work in office, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple orders and deadlines.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in basic procurement software or ERP systems and MS Office tools.
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
