Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to oversee end-to-end procurement and supply chain management for our operations and plant sites. You will be responsible for sourcing heavy machinery spare parts, raw materials, industrial tools, safety equipment, and operational consumables while managing vendor negotiations and cost-effective purchasing schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Procurement & Sourcing: Source, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors for heavy equipment spares, industrial fuels, site machinery, and daily operational consumables.
- Negotiation & Rate Contracts: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules; execute Annual Rate Contracts (ARCs) with key suppliers to optimize operational costs.
- PO Workflow Management: Review Purchase Requisitions (PRs)



from site heads and issue Purchase Orders (POs) with accurate specifications, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Inventory & Store Coordination: Coordinate with site storekeepers to track stock levels, review Goods Received Notes (GRNs), and maintain optimum safety stock to eliminate downtime.
- Vendor & Financial Compliance: Conduct periodic vendor evaluations, verify GST-compliant invoices with Accounts, and resolve lead time delays or quality rejections.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com), Mechanical Engineering, or Supply Chain Management (MBA in Materials Management is a plus).
- Experience: 5+ years of procurement experience in mining, manufacturing, heavy engineering, or construction sectors.
- Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with ERP purchase modules, Tally, and Advanced MS Excel.
- Key Competencies: Strong commercial negotiation skills, deep knowledge of machinery spare parts, and thorough understanding of GST/procurement documentation.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
