KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Handle end-to-end procurement of materials and equipment for both infrastructure/civil projects and interior fit-out projects.

- Identify, develop and evaluate vendors across infra material categories (steel, cement, aggregates, structural items, equipment) as well as interior material categories (plywood, laminates, veneers, hardware, furniture, lighting and soft furnishings).

- Negotiate rates, commercial terms, payment conditions and delivery schedules.

- Prepare and release purchase orders through the ERP system.

- Coordinate with site teams — both infrastructure sites (including Assam) and interior project sites in Kolkata — for material planning and timely supply.

- Prepare quotation comparisons and techno-commercial analysis for both verticals.

- Monitor delivery status and resolve supply-related issues across infra and interior projects.

- Maintain a consolidated vendor database and purchase documentation for both business lines.

- Drive cost control through effective negotiation and alternate sourcing.

- Coordinate with the design team on interior material/finish specifications, and with stores, accounts and project teams for smooth procurement operations.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

- Procurement experience in construction, infrastructure or engineering industry, and/or the interior fit-out/furniture industry.





- Experience sourcing infra materials (steel, cement, aggregates, structural items, equipment) as well as interior materials (plywood, laminates, hardware, furniture, lighting).

- Exposure to marine, bridge, piling or heavy civil projects will be an advantage.

- Experience handling procurement across multiple project locations, including out-of-state sites.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- Graduate / Diploma in Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce or a related field.

- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant purchase/procurement experience, ideally spanning both construction and interior/furniture sourcing.

- Working knowledge of ERP systems is essential.

- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.

- Strong negotiation, coordination and vendor management skills.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
