About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Purchase & Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, vendor development, and end-to-end supply chain operations for our EV manufacturing business. The role is responsible for ensuring cost-effective sourcing, timely material availability, vendor performance management, and supply chain efficiency in alignment with OEM manufacturing standards.

The ideal candidate will have robust experience in automobile component sourcing, supplier negotiations, inventory planning, and production supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Strategic Sourcing:

- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with production and business goals.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and component suppliers for EV and automobile parts.
- Manage RFQ/RFP processes, vendor negotiations, and contract finalization.
- Ensure cost optimization, quality compliance, and timely procurement of raw materials and components.
- Maintain long-term supplier relationships and conduct periodic vendor evaluations.

Supply Chain Management:

- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production.
- Monitor inventory levels, safety stock, and reorder planning to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Implement efficient supply chain processes to reduce lead time and operational costs.

Vendor Development & Management:

- Develop and strengthen a robust vendor network for EV components, electronics, and mechanical parts.




- Conduct supplier audits, performance reviews, and quality compliance checks.
- Collaborate with vendors for continuous improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.

Production & Cross-Functional Coordination:

- Work closely with production, engineering, quality, and planning teams to align procurement with manufacturing schedules.
- Ensure smooth coordination between suppliers and internal departments for production continuity.
- Address supply disruptions, delays, and logistics challenges proactively.

Cost Control & Process Optimization:

- Analyze procurement costs and supply chain performance to identify improvement opportunities.
- Implement cost reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations.
- Maintain accurate procurement documentation and ERP records.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
