About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Purchase Manager to manage and streamline the procurement function for our QSR operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in purchasing food ingredients, beverages, packaging materials, kitchen supplies, consumables, and other operational requirements.

The candidate should be well-connected with vendors and suppliers, commercially astute, and capable of ensuring the right quality, quantity, and pricing while maintaining uninterrupted supply to the restaurants.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement activities for QSR operations.
- Source and purchase food ingredients, beverages, packaging materials, kitchen equipment, cleaning supplies, and other restaurant consumables.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate with, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate pricing, credit terms, delivery schedules, quality standards, and contracts with vendors.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
- Ensure timely availability of materials across restaurants and prevent stock-outs.
- Compare quotations and conduct regular price benchmarking and market analysis.
- Monitor purchase costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Coordinate closely with Operations, Kitchen, Stores, Finance,



and Accounts teams to understand requirements and ensure timely procurement.
- Maintain proper purchase records, vendor databases, quotations, purchase orders, and related documentation.
- Monitor vendor performance in terms of quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and consistency.
- Conduct periodic vendor evaluations and identify alternate sources wherever required.
- Ensure procurement is aligned with approved budgets and company policies.
- Work closely with the stores/inventory team to maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Monitor market trends, commodity price fluctuations, and availability of key raw materials.
- Ensure compliance with food quality, hygiene, safety, and company procurement standards.
- Handle urgent and emergency procurement requirements without disrupting restaurant operations.

Key Procurement Categories The candidate should ideally have experience purchasing some or most of the following:
- Food & raw materials
- Fresh produce, dairy, meat/poultry and frozen products
- Beverages and beverage ingredients
- Sauces, spices, condiments and cooking ingredients
- Food packaging and takeaway materials
- Kitchen consumables and small equipment
- Cleaning and hygiene materials




- Restaurant operating supplies
- Non-food consumables

Candidate Profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably within the QSR, restaurant, hospitality, food service, or FMCG industry.
- Strong understanding of food and restaurant procurement is highly preferred.
- Positive knowledge of local and regional vendor markets.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to evaluate quality, pricing, and commercial terms effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase/inventory management systems.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced environment and manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
- Strong commercial acumen with a cost-conscious approach.
