Roles &

Responsibilities :-

- Source, negotiate, and procure raw materials and metal parts (including sheet metal, castings, forgings, machined components, fasteners, etc.).

- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner based on approved requisitions and material planning.

- Follow up and chase vendors rigorously for on-time deliveries, quality compliance, and resolution of pending issues.

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and material standards to ensure correct sourcing and vendor understanding.

- Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors while managing existing supplier relationships.

- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, lead times, and commercial conditions to achieve cost savings and supply continuity.

- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (Engineering, Production, Quality, Planning) for material requirements, technical clarifications, and schedule alignment.

- Monitor vendor performance on quality, delivery, cost, and responsiveness; drive corrective actions where needed.

- Maintain proper documentation of POs, quotations, contracts,



and related records.

- Support inventory optimization and help minimize stock-outs or excess inventory through proactive procurement planning.

Required Skills &

Qualifications :-

- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in sourcing/procurement of raw materials and metal parts.

- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering/technical drawings.

- Proven experience in vendor follow-up, expediting, and PO management.

- Experience in Electrical or Automotive industry (preferred).

- Good commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and cost-consciousness.

- Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Oracle or similar) for PO creation and tracking is desirable.

- Solid communication, follow-up, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
