Position: Purchase Executive/Sr. Executive

Department: Purchase / Procurement

Location: Sri City, AP

Experience: 2 to 5 Years

Qualification: Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech Mechanical / MBA (Purchase) preferred

Reporting To: Purchase Head

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day procurement of raw materials, components, consumables and engineering items required for manufacturing.
- Purchase materials such as copper tubes, sheet metal, hardware, electrical items, packaging materials and other production-related items.
- Identify and develop new vendors as per quality, cost, delivery and service requirements.
- Float enquiries, obtain quotations and prepare comparative statements for purchase decisions.
- Negotiate with suppliers on price, payment terms, delivery schedules and other commercial conditions.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) after necessary approvals.
- Follow up with vendors for on-time delivery and ensure material availability as per production requirements.
- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Quality, Stores and Accounts for procurement-related activities.
- Monitor pending orders, delivery schedules and vendor commitments.
- Maintain vendor records, quotation records,



PO records and procurement-related documents.
- Support cost reduction initiatives through price negotiation, alternate vendors and alternate sources.
- Resolve issues related to short supply, quality rejection, delayed delivery and commercial discrepancies in coordination with concerned departments.
- Ensure procurement is carried out as per company policies, approved specifications and quality standards.

Required Skills:
- Good knowledge of Purchase & Procurement processes in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in purchasing HVAC/AC components, sheet metal, copper or industrial consumables will be preferred.
- Valuable vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of MS Excel, ERP/SAP and purchase documentation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple requirements simultaneously.
- Strong follow-up and analytical skills.

Preferred Industry Experience: Candidates from HVAC, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration, Automobile, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Copper Tubing or Manufacturing industries will be preferred.
