Role & responsibilities

- Handle procurement of raw materials and packaging materials as per production requirements.

- Source quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate with vendors.

- Coordinate with vendors for price, quality, delivery and timely supply.

- Generate Purchase Orders and maintain purchase related records.

- Coordinate with other departments for procurement activities.

- Maintain vendor database and follow up on pending orders.

- Provide administrative and coordination support to MD.

- Manage MD's meetings, schedules, correspondence and follow up points.

- Prepare MIS, reports, presentations and other documents as required.

- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Preferred candidate profile

- Good knowledge of purchase/procurement process.

- Strong vendor coordination and negotiable skills.

- Valuable communication and follow-up skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

- Well organized, proactive and detail oriented.

- Prior experience in Pharma/ Manufacturing industry will be preferred.
