Mentra is a growing mental health care platform focused on providing accessible, professional and client-centred mental healthcare through digital and in-person services.

We are looking for a qualified Psychiatrist to join our clinical team and provide psychiatric assessment, consultation and treatment support to clients.

Role Overview The Psychiatrist will be responsible for assessing clients, providing psychiatric consultations, developing appropriate treatment plans and coordinating care with psychologists and other mental health professionals when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct psychiatric consultations and clinical assessments.
- Evaluate clients presenting with a range of mental health concerns.
- Diagnose and manage psychiatric conditions within the scope of skilled practice.
- Develop appropriate treatment and follow-up plans.
- Prescribe and monitor medication where clinically appropriate.
- Monitor treatment response and make necessary clinical adjustments.
- Identify and manage clinical risk appropriately.
- Coordinate care with psychologists and other healthcare professionals.




- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records.
- Provide consultations through digital/telehealth services where applicable.
- Maintain professional, ethical and client-centred standards of care.

Required Qualifications
- MBBS with MD/DNB in Psychiatry or an equivalent recognised qualification.
- Valid registration with the appropriate medical regulatory authority.
- Relevant clinical experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of multidisciplinary mental healthcare.
- Commitment to ethical and evidence-informed practice.

Preferred
- 3+ years of clinical experience.
- Experience in digital mental health or telepsychiatry.
- Experience working collaboratively with psychologists and counsellors.
- Experience with a broad range of adult mental health presentations.
