About the Role

Binary Waves Solutions is looking for an experienced and hands-on Project Manager – Manufacturing Digital Transformation to lead and deliver technology-driven projects for manufacturing clients.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of manufacturing digital transformation, Industry 4.0, and shop-floor operations, along with proven experience in client handling, presales, post-sales delivery, and team leadership.

The candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initial client discussions through implementation, delivery, and post-project support.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage digital transformation projects from initiation to successful delivery and closure.
- Take complete ownership of project scope, timelines, milestones, resources, risks, and deliverables.
- Work closely with manufacturing clients at their locations to understand business requirements and operational challenges.
- Lead projects involving Industry 4.0, MES/MOM, IIoT, shop-floor digitization, ERP integration, and manufacturing analytics.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams during presales, solution discussions, project estimation, and planning.
- Support the transition from presales to project execution and ensure smooth project initiation.
- Manage post-sales activities, implementation, deployment, client handover, and post-implementation support.
- Lead, motivate, and guide cross-functional technical teams to ensure timely project completion.




- Coordinate with Technical Leads, Developers, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and other project stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations, stakeholder communication, escalations, and customer relationships.
- Identify project risks, resolve bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within agreed scope, and in line with quality expectations.
- Track project progress, team performance, and delivery milestones.
- Ensure proper project documentation, knowledge transfer, and successful client handover.

Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience in Project Management , preferably in Manufacturing Digital Transformation or Industrial Technology.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, and shop-floor operations.
- Proven experience managing manufacturing technology or digital transformation projects.
- Experience working directly with manufacturing clients and plant-level stakeholders.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- MES / MOM
- IIoT and Industrial Automation
- Shop-floor Digitization
- ERP and System Integration
- Production Monitoring and OEE
- Manufacturing Analytics




- Digital Quality Management
- Strong experience in client handling and stakeholder management.
- Proven experience in team leadership and project delivery.
- Experience in presales, solution discussions, project estimation, and post-sales delivery.
- Ability to understand technical requirements and coordinate effectively with engineering and software development teams.
- Solid communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of project outcomes.
- Willingness to work from Chennai and travel to client locations whenever required.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period are preferred.
