About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to lead and manage projects related to Organic Farming, Natural Farming, and PGS India Certification. The candidate will coordinate with farmers, field teams, certification bodies, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of certification and sustainable agriculture initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, execute, and monitor agriculture and certification projects from initiation to completion.
- Lead and manage field coordinators, agriculture officers, and project teams.
- Supervise PGS India certification activities, including farmer registration, documentation, inspections, and certification processes.
- Coordinate farmer groups for Organic and Natural Farming implementation.
- Ensure proper maintenance of farmer records, farm documentation, and compliance with PGS India guidelines.
- Conduct field visits, internal inspections, and monitoring of farming practices.
- Prepare project reports, progress updates, and certification-related documentation.
- Liaise with government departments, NGOs, FPOs, certification agencies, and other stakeholders.




- Organize farmer training programs, awareness campaigns, and capacity-building activities.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to achieve project objectives.

Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of PGS India Certification process.
- Understanding of Organic Farming and Natural Farming principles and standards.
- Knowledge of farmer documentation, field verification, and certification compliance.
- Excellent project planning, execution, and reporting skills.
- Experience in team handling, field operations, and stakeholder coordination.
- Positive communication skills in Hindi and English.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and digital documentation tools.

Eligibility CriteriaPreferred Candidate Profile
- Experience working with farmer producer organizations (FPOs), NGOs, or agricultural development projects.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Passion for sustainable agriculture and rural livelihood development.
