Project Manager – SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud to lead end-to-end ERP transformation programs involving SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, governance, stakeholder management, risk management, and successful delivery of SAP Public Cloud projects while ensuring adherence to SAP Activate methodology and best practices.

The role requires strong leadership skills, experience managing global teams, and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, system integrators, and IT teams to deliver business value through cloud-based ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Project Leadership & Delivery

- Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation projects from initiation through hypercare and project closure.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to SAP Activate methodology, fit-to-standard principles, and cloud implementation best practices.
- Drive project governance, status reporting, and executive stakeholder communications.
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests effectively.

Stakeholder Management

- Partner with business leaders, process owners, and IT stakeholders to define project objectives and success criteria.
- Facilitate workshops, steering committee meetings, and key decision-making forums.
- Build strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and SAP stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment between business goals and SAP Public Cloud capabilities.

Functional & Technical Coordination





- Coordinate across functional streams such as Finance, Procurement, Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and HR.
- Oversee integrations with SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Functional Consultants, Developers, Security, Data Migration, and Testing teams.
- Ensure successful execution of data migration, integrations, testing, training, and deployment activities.

Program Governance & Quality Assurance

- Monitor project progress against milestones and manage escalations proactively.
- Establish project controls, governance frameworks, and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and SAP implementation standards.
- Drive issue resolution and risk mitigation strategies.

Change Management & Adoption

- Support organizational change management initiatives.
- Ensure user readiness through training, communication, and adoption strategies.
- Manage go-live planning, cutover activities, and hypercare support.
- Track benefits realization and post-implementation success metrics.

Required Skills & Experience

SAP Expertise

- Strong experience managing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation projects.
- Positive understanding of SAP Activate methodology and fit-to-standard approach.
- Knowledge of SAP business processes across Finance, Procurement, Sales, Inventory, Manufacturing,



and Supply Chain.
- Experience managing SAP integrations, data migration, testing, and deployment activities.

Project Management

- Proven experience delivering large-scale ERP transformation programs.
- Strong expertise in project planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
- Experience managing global and cross-functional teams.
- Strong risk, issue, dependency, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project delivery methodologies.

Leadership & Communication

- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Ability to lead distributed teams across multiple geographies.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
- PMP, Prince2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent Project Management certification preferred.
- SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud certification is an advantage.
- Experience working with global system integrators and managed service providers.

Experience Required 15+ years of overall IT/SAP experience with 5+ years of Project Management experience leading SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementations.
