Role Description This is a full-time, in office Project Manager Civil role based in Mumbai.

The Project Manager

Civil will oversee end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of civil and infrastructure works for hospitality projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include coordinating with architects, contractors, and internal stakeholders; preparing and monitoring project schedules; and managing site activities to maintain compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements. The role involves cost estimation, budgeting, and resource allocation, as well as regular progress reporting and risk mitigation.

Civil will also drive continuous improvement in construction processes and support the opening and expansion of new outlets.

Qualifications

- Strong project leadership capabilities with skills in Project Management and Construction Management to oversee multiple civil projects from start to finish.
- Technical foundation in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in Budgeting and cost control, including estimation, vendor negotiation, and tracking project expenses against approved budgets.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and external partners, ensuring effective communication and timely decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a postgraduate qualification in project or construction management is an advantage.
- Relevant experience in civil works for hospitality, commercial, or retail projects, preferably in high-traffic, customer-facing environments.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and permitting processes in Mumbai.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
