Role Description This is a full-time, in office Project Engineer role based in Erode.

The Project

Engineer will oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of waste management and environmental engineering projects, ensuring alignment with technical specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams, contractors, and clients; preparing project plans, schedules, and progress reports; and supporting the installation, commissioning, and operation of electrical and mechanical systems at project sites.



The role involves conducting site inspections, resolving technical and operational issues, optimizing processes for landfill mining, bio-mining, and resource recovery, and ensuring compliance with relevant environmental and regulatory requirements.

The Project

Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support documentation, reporting, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills relevant to environmental and waste management projects.
- Candidates should possess solid Project Management and Project Planning skills for scheduling, resource allocation, and execution control.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients.
- Relevant experience in environmental engineering, waste management, or infrastructure projects is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Environmental, Civil, or related field) or equivalent technical qualification is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site, manage field activities, adhere to safety protocols, and travel to project locations as needed.
- Proficiency in project documentation, basic project management tools, and understanding of applicable standards and regulations is advantageous.
