Role Description The Project Engineer role at DQAP Systems is a full-time, in office position based in Kolkata.

The Project

Engineer will oversee end-to-end execution of fire detection and suppression system projects, including technical design review, planning, scheduling, and coordination with internal teams and external stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include preparing project documentation, supporting installation and commissioning activities, monitoring project progress, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.



The role also involves collaborating with vendors, contractors, and clients to resolve technical issues, manage risks, and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

The Project

Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to optimize processes and enhance overall project delivery.

Qualifications

- Strong project engineering and electrical engineering skills, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and system specifications.
- Proficiency in project management and project planning, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors, and for preparing clear technical documentation.
- Knowledge of industrial fire detection and suppression systems or related industrial automation and control systems is mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Ability to work on-site in industrial environments, with strong attention to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
