Job Purpose

Lead and manage the complete construction and site execution activities of the biogas plant, ensuring timely project completion with required quality, safety, cost control, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

1. Construction Planning &
- Execution:

Plan, coordinate, and supervise all site construction activities in line with project schedules, drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.

- Civil &

- Structural Works:

Manage construction of digesters, tanks, foundations, buildings, roads, drainage, utility structures, equipment foundations, and other civil/structural works.

- Mechanical &

- Piping Works:

Supervise installation of process equipment, pumps, mixers, compressors, gas handling systems, pipelines, valves, structural steel, and associated mechanical systems.

- Electrical &

- Instrumentation:

Coordinate electrical, instrumentation, automation, cabling, panels, earthing, lighting, and plant utility installation with respective teams and contractors.

- Contractor Management: Manage EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and manpower; monitor productivity,



work fronts, resource deployment, and adherence to agreed schedules.

- Project Schedule &

- Progress:

Track daily and weekly construction progress, identify delays and constraints, develop recovery plans, and ensure milestones are achieved.

- Quality &

- Technical Compliance:

Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure construction and installation comply with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, applicable codes, and quality standards.

- Safety &

- Site Discipline:

Ensure strict implementation of HSE requirements, permit-to-work systems, toolbox meetings, PPE usage, protected work practices, and statutory safety requirements.

- Material &

- Resource Management:

Coordinate material availability, equipment, tools, manpower, and site logistics to avoid construction delays and ensure optimum resource utilization.

- Commissioning &

- Handover:

Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, trial runs, punch-point closure, performance testing, as-built documentation, and final project handover.
