Flight Control Computer Software Program Manager
We are seeking an experienced Flight Control Computer Software Program Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a DO-178C DAL A compliant Flight Control Computer (FCC) software program for an eVTOL platform. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful execution of software programs that meet the highest safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of DO-178C lifecycle processes and have strong program management, stakeholder alignment, and risk management skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of the FCC software program in alignment with DO-178C DAL A objectives.
- Manage scope, schedule, resources, budget, dependencies, risks, issues, milestones, and deliverables.
- Establish program governance, reporting cadence, performance indicators, and escalation mechanisms.
- Coordinate software development, software verification, systems engineering, hardware, quality, configuration management, and certification teams.
- Drive customer reviews, technical reviews, milestone assessments, and management updates.
- Ensure lifecycle plans, compliance evidence, review records, and program documentation are prepared and maintained.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and support resolution of technical, delivery, and commercial issues.
- Oversee financial oversight and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Support cross-functional team coordination across development, verification, systems, hardware, quality, and certification teams.
- Lead risk management and mitigation strategies throughout the program lifecycle.
Qualification Criteria:
- Experience managing avionics or safety-critical embedded software programs.
- Working knowledge of DO-178C lifecycle processes, with exposure to DAL A or DAL B programs.
- Knowledge of Flight Control Computers, flight control systems, autopilot, or related avionics systems.
- Strong program and project management capability covering planning, estimation, tracking, risk, resource, and budget management.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Project (MPP) or an equivalent planning tool.
- Solid stakeholder management, customer communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Proven track record in managing and delivering software programs within stringent regulatory environments.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Extensive experience in software development, verification, and compliance with aerospace standards.
- Ability to manage complex projects and deliver high-quality software products on time.
