Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and versatile Full-Time Web Developer based in Agartala, Tripura.

This is a full-time, desk-based professional position in Agartala. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, maintaining, securing, and optimizing client websites and digital platforms.

The employee will handle the complete lifecycle of assigned web projects-from understanding client requirements and designing the website to development, deployment, hosting, maintenance, troubleshooting, updates, and ongoing technical management.

The position also involves client and project coordination, technical operations, business-development support, project procurement, and training activities when required.

Key Responsibilities 1. Website Design & Development

1. Design and develop modern, responsive, professional, and high-performance websites.
2. Develop websites for individuals, professionals, businesses, organizations, institutions, and other clients.
3. Convert client requirements and concepts into functional digital solutions.
4. Develop corporate websites, professional/profile websites, institutional websites, e-commerce websites, landing pages, portals, and custom web solutions.
5. Ensure websites are fully responsive across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
6. Develop and customize websites using appropriate programming languages, frameworks, CMS platforms, themes, and plugins.
7. Customize WordPress, Elementor, and other CMS-based websites according to project requirements.
8. Integrate forms, payment systems, APIs, analytics, third-party services, and other functionality where required.
9. Website Management & Maintenance
10. Take responsibility for the ongoing technical management of assigned client websites.
11. Perform regular CMS, WordPress, theme, plugin, and software updates.
12. Troubleshoot website errors, broken pages, compatibility problems, and technical issues.
13. Maintain backups and website recovery procedures.
14. Monitor website functionality, availability, and performance.
15. Implement requested content, design, layout, and functionality changes.
16. Provide ongoing technical support for completed client projects.
17. Hosting, Domains & Technical Operations
18. Configure and manage domains, subdomains, DNS records, and nameservers.
19. Manage website hosting environments, VPS servers, cPanel/WHM, and cloud-hosting platforms.
20. Configure and maintain SSL certificates.
21. Configure professional and business email services where required.
22. Perform website migrations, deployments, staging, backups, and restorations.
23. Troubleshoot hosting and server-related issues.
24. Maintain appropriate technical records and documentation for client projects.




25. Website Security & Performance
26. Implement website security best practices.
27. Conduct routine website security checks.
28. Identify and resolve vulnerabilities and security-related issues.
29. Assist with malware prevention/removal and unauthorized-access incidents.
30. Optimize website loading speed and overall performance.
31. Configure caching, CDN, database optimization, image optimization, and related performance technologies.
32. Maintain appropriate website backup and disaster-recovery procedures.
33. Client & Project Coordination
34. Understand and document client requirements.
35. Communicate professionally with clients through meetings, phone calls, email, and approved digital channels.
36. Participate in client meetings and project discussions when required.
37. Provide project updates and coordinate revisions.
38. Maintain project timelines and ensure timely completion and delivery.
39. Handle multiple website development and maintenance assignments.
40. Maintain professional records of requirements, changes, project progress, and deliverables.
41. Project Procurement & Business Development
42. Identify prospective clients and new website-development opportunities.
43. Assist DSCHOLAR WEB in acquiring website design, development, hosting, maintenance, and related digital projects.
44. Communicate the services and solutions offered by DSCHOLAR WEB to prospective clients.
45. Develop professional networks and business relationships capable of generating projects.
46. Follow up with prospective clients and business leads where assigned.
47. Participate in organizational business-development initiatives.

1. Training & Mentorship
2. Conduct training sessions, workshops, demonstrations, and practical classes when assigned.
3. Train interested candidates and team members in website development and related technologies.
4. Provide practical training in WordPress, website development, hosting, domains, and web operations.
5. Prepare technical documentation and training materials where required.
6. Mentor trainees and provide guidance during practical web-development activities.
7. Daily Desk-Based Responsibilities

As this is a full-time desk job based in Agartala, Tripura, the selected employee will be expected to:

Required Qualifications
1. Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E., M.Tech, MCA, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. Professional Experience: Preferably 1-5 years of relevant web-development experience, particularly in designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining client-facing websites or web applications.
3. Portfolio: Candidates should be able to demonstrate their technical abilities through a portfolio, live websites, GitHub projects, previous professional work, or practical technical assessment.

Required Technical Skills JavaScript / TypeScript, PHP and/or Node.js, WordPress, Elementor, MySQL / PostgreSQL, Responsive Web Design, UI/UX Fundamentals, Website Deployment, Domain and DNS Management, cPanel / WHM, VPS and Cloud Hosting, SSL Configuration, Website Migration and Backups, Website Security, Website Speed and Performance Optimization, Git / Version-Control Fundamentals.

Knowledge of React.js, Next.js, Vue.js, AWS, Vercel, Cloudflare, headless CMS platforms, APIs, e-commerce platforms, payment-gateway integrations, and related modern web technologies will be an advantage.
