Role Description The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations for rubber-molded components at the Tumkur facility. This full-time, in office role includes planning and monitoring production schedules, managing shop-floor teams, coordinating with maintenance and quality departments, and ensuring that output meets safety, quality, and delivery standards. The person in this role will optimize machine utilization, manage raw material usage, and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.

The Production

Manager will track production metrics, prepare reports,



and collaborate with leadership to meet customer requirements and continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

- Experience in production management, preferably in rubber molding or related manufacturing environments.
- Strong skills in shop-floor supervision, team leadership, and workforce planning.
- Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory control practices.
- Understanding of quality control, process standards, and basic problem-solving tools for defect reduction.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and safe work practices in industrial settings.
- Ability to analyze production data, track key performance indicators, and prepare clear reports.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams such as maintenance, quality, and logistics.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering, or a related field, is preferred.
- Prior experience in supervising machine operators and technicians on the shop floor.
- Willingness to work on-site in Tumkur and be present during core production hours.
